In the area of hostilities in Donbas, militants violated the truce three times over the current day, using mortars, grenade launchers and a missile system. As a result of the shelling, there are no Ukrainian military personnel, the Joint Forces Operations press center said.
"In Donetsk region, not far from Vodyane, the enemy opened fire from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, as well as mortars of 82 caliber. Later, the enemy showed fire activity in Luhansk region, using an anti-tank missile system, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns," the message says.
No casualties took place among the Ukrainian military.
As we reported before, in Donbas, militants handed over an unidentified body to the Ukrainian side. DNA examination will be required to identify the deceased.
"After difficult negotiations of the Ukrainian side through the OSCE with representatives of the Russian occupation forces, an agreement was finally reached - a human body was transferred to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government at the Mariinka checkpoint," the message says.
