The pro-Russian militants have decided to celebrate New Year and Christmas normally. On December 27, the sides of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk agreed on the “festive ceasefire” and the heads of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic” (DPR) and “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LPR) announced the cancelation of the curfew for New Year and Christmas as “the official websites” of the heads reported.

“It is ordered to stop the curfew regime on the territory of DPR starting from 23:00 on December 31, 2018 up to 5:00 am on January 1, 2019; from 23:00 on January 6, 2019, up to 5:00 am on January 7, 2019,” the order of Donetsk Head Denis Pushilin says as Ostrov reported.
