A thermal power plant went under attack in Luhansk, which immediately limited power supplies for households in the northern part of Luhansk region. DTEK, Ukraine’s major energy holding reported that on Friday.
‘On July 7, Lysychanska power line shut down. Luhansk thermal power plant kept on working, though two energy units had to cut the production load. So far, the only power-generating entity operates on the limited output basis’, DTEK reported.
It is not the first time that the plant suffers the consequences of artillery attacks; previously, militants shelled it on June 15 and June 23.
