Illegal armed formations of Russian militants shelled the residential quarters in Zolote-4 village, Luhansk region. The HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Tuesday evening.
'Today, July 10, the enemy once again obnoxiously shelled the living neighborhoods of Zolote-4, landing the attack from the occupied Zolote-5. By a pure miracle, there were no casualties among the civilians', reads the message.
Those who suffered during the attack received help from the teams of the civil and military cooperation.
Zolote-4 was liberated from Russian mercenaries last month, as the Ukrainian troops advanced in that particular section of the combat area in Luhansk region.
Previously, in May, the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation claimed that the government troops released Pivdenne village in Donetsk region. This is mentioned in the message on the HQ's Facebook page on Thursday evening.
'The tactical situation of the defenses in the area of Horlivka somewhat improved. The well-planned and prepared actions of the reconnaissance of the 24th brigade allowed them to provide safety for the civilians in Pivdenne (Chygyri). A group of enemy fighters was spotted in the area in early April. They were checking if the locals were loyal to the Ukrainian government, showing their presence there,' reads the message.
The Ukrainian forces developed the operation plan and brought it to life; the fight occurred in the vicinities of the village. The Ukrainian side took no casualties; the enemy lost one man killed, and another man wounded.
