A Ukrainian citizen, whom the so-called 'LNR' (Luhansk People's Republic, - 112 International) illegally held in custody now walks free. Pavlo Lysiansky, human rights activists and the regional coordinator of the parliamentary envoy for human rights in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, posted this on Facebook.
'Ukrainian citizen, whom the illegal armed formation held in prison since 2014, was released - thanks to the joint efforts of the international society', reads the message.
The identity of the released man is not revealed.
Previously, the Ukrainian official explained that the citizen was actually sentenced by the Ukrainian court; however, the detention period came to its end in 2017, and the illegitimate administration has been holding him in custody illegally since then.
