The representatives of occupied areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions refused to pass to Ukraine four severely ill prisoners as RBK-Ukraine reported citing Speaker of the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group Oleksiy Arestovych.

“Kravchuk put forward an initiative yesterday: let’s exchange four severely ill people; they are at the intensive care unit there. Not granted,” Arestovych said.

On June 9, Head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas Leonid Kravchuk has urged the representatives of occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions to release four severely ill citizens of Ukraine.

On May 21, 2021, it was reported that 285 people are on Ukraine’s list on prisoner swap with occupied Donbas militants. There are 90 militants. The principle “all for all” should be used to return Ukrainian citizens.
