A grenade released by militants from the occupied territory of Donbas, damaged the roof of a private house in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. This was reported in the JFO HQ press center.

As it became known, militants fired on residential areas of settlements near the contact line. So, yesterday, May 10, an enemy grenade from AGS-17 exploded in a dangerous proximity to the private house of a local resident in Avdiivka. The shards damaged the roof of a house.

Fortunately, as a result of the shelling, none of the civilians was injured.

"Neglecting the rules of warfare, the enemy once again reaffirmed its occupation and deliberately endangered the civilian population of Donbas," the headquarters emphasized.

For the previous week, Ukrainian sappers examined and cleared 54 hectares in Donbas. This is reported by the JFO HQ.

"During the week, units of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine carried out work on cleaning up terrain, livelihoods and infrastructure from explosive objects, and were also involved in fighting fires," the report said.

As reported, sappers seized and neutralized 912 explosive items.
