Donbas: Enemy steps up aerial reconnaissance

Russia-backed militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions

One Ukrainian fighter was wounded due to attacks that took place in the war-affected Donbas on July 11. Press centre of the joint staff of the Ukrainian military reported that on Wednesday morning.

In Donetsk region, illegal armed units used 82 mm mortars to shell Avdiivka; Butivka coal mine went under heavy machinegun fire. Enemy attacked Ukrainian outpost near Pavlopol (Mariupol sector).

In Luhansk region, Russia-backed mercenaries shelled Novooleksandrivka and Novotoshkivske from 82 mm mortars. The enemy used RPGs and heavy machineguns to fire on Stanytsia Luhanska and Novozvanivka.

The militants intensified aerial reconnaissance; hostile drones were spotted over Slovyanoserbsk and Stanytsia Luhanska (both in Luhansk region).
