Donbas day: 18 attacks, one Ukrainian soldier wounded

The militants used mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and infantry fighting vehicles

Over the past 24 hours, pro-Russian militaries violated the set ceasefire 18 times in the Donbas combat area. The press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported that on its Facebook

"In the Donetsk region, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers 14 times. The illegal armed formations used 120 mm mortar shells, infantry fighting vehicles (IFV - 1), grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns to shell Vodine 4 times. The invaders also opened fire in the direction of Nevelske twice with hand anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms. The members of illegal armed gangs used rocket-propelled grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to attack Krasnohorivka. The mercenaries of the Russian Federation also shelled Talakivka and Berezove with the IFV - 1, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms, and hand anti-tank grenade launchers. Pisky and Hnutove were attacked using 82 and 120 mm mortar shells, rocket-propelled and hand anti-tank grenade launchers as well as small arms. Russian-backed soldiers opened fire near Pavlopil with rocket-propelled and hand anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns," says the message.

"4 shellings were observed in the Luhansk region. Maiorske was shelled twice with hand anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms. The combatants also opened near Novoluhanske and Krymske using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms," added in the Headquarters. 

One Ukrainian soldier was injured during the hostile attacks. 

Since the beginning of the day, no ceasefire violations were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area.
