23 ceasefire violations were recorded over past day

Despite the reached agreement of Trilateral Contact Group regarding ceasefire, Russia-backed occupation forces continue conducting provocative shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Enemy violated ceasefire agreement 23 times over past day. Two Ukrainian soldiers of the Armed Forces were killed, two more got wounded. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

Enemy was the most active in Donetsk direction. 120 and 82 mm mortars were used to attack positions near Avdiivka and Butivka mine. Grenade launchers and small arms were fired at Pisky, Verkhnyotoretske, Pivdenne and Avdiivka. Heavy machine guns were fired at Kamyanka. Enemy opened fire from small arms near Zaytseve.

In Mariupol direction, situation was tense near Shyrokyne, Chermalyk and Krasnohorivka, where militants attacked using heavy machine guns. Small arms were fired at strongholds of Ukrainian defenders near Vodiane and Bohdanivka. Enemy sniper operated in Hnutove.

In Luhansk direction, enemy shelled Ukrainian positions near Krymske with 120 mm mortars.

In some cases, ATO forces returned fire to suppress hostile activity.
