Situation in ATO zone remains tense, escalated in various directions. Russia-backed terrorist groups attacked 31 times since midnight. About dozen times militants used artillery weapons banned by Minsk agreement. Beyond that, enemy projectiles hit the residential areas in one of the frontline settlements again. Three Ukrainian soldiers got wounded as a result of hostilities in the last 24 hours. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, enemy attacked on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Pavlopil, Chermalyk, Bohdanivka and Krasnohorivka. Militants used 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers.
Beyond that, enemy rockets hit residential areas of Krasnohorivka. Militants fired prohibited 120 mm mortars. Ukrainian side in the Joint Coordination and Control Center fixed damages in two residential houses at Lomonosova Street. Luckily, civilians in both houses were not hurt.
In Donetsk direction, situation was intense in Avdiivka, where militants were firing at strongholds of ATO forces from 120 mm mortars and lighter weapons of various modifications. Positions near Pisky also got under heavy mortar fire. Bandits used heavy machine guns to attack positions near Opytne. 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers were fired on Ukrainian fighters defending Zaytseve.
In Luhansk direction, Russia-backed groups shelled positions near Novotroitske using 120 mm mortars. Militants also fired small arms at ATO positions near Novotoshkivske.
Later it was reported that the enemy shelled positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces and border guards near Pavlopil, the building of border guard service got damaged as a result.
