Situation in ATO zone remains tense. Russia-backed occupation forces opened fire on strongholds of Ukrainian defenders 26 times since midnight. Militants repeatedly fired heavy artillery, which is strictly banned by Minsk agreement. One Ukrainian servicemen got wounded as a result of hostilities. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, Russia-backed gunmen fired 120 mm mortars at Ukrainian positions near Chermalyk. Enemy also shelled Pavlopil using 122 mm artillery systems. Mortars, IFV weaponry and anti-aircraft mounting were used near Hnutove. Bandits fired 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers of various modifications near marina. Ukrainian fighters were also attacked by sniper near Krasnohorivka. Shyrokyne defenders suffered enemy fire from grenade machine-gun.
In Donetsk direction, situation was relatively stable. However, attacks were not ceased. Militants mostly fired at Ukrainian defenders in Luhanske. Illegal armed groups used tank and IFVs, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. They also attacked Zaytseve with grenade launchers and small arms. Enemy fired 82 mm mortars and machine guns near Avdiivka.
In Luhansk direction, Russia-backed armed groups attacked strongholds near Novotoshkivske 4 times using automatic grenade launchers. Small arms were used near Donets settlement.
