Russia-backed terrorist groups continue armed provocations against ATO forces. However, situation is controlled by Ukrainian defenders. Militants fired 15 times since midnight, repeatedly used weapons banned by Minsk agreement. One Ukrainian soldier was killed as a result of hostilities, three more got wounded. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, situation was the most tense. The highest number of enemy attacks was recorded here. Bandits attacked four times from 120 mm mortars at positions near Chermalyk. They also fired at the same spot and at Novotroitske from grenade launchers. Militants fired 82 mm mortars two times near Marinka.
Apart from that, residential areas suffered enemy fire at about 5 p.m. during shelling of ATO positions near this settlement. One 82 mm projectile hit residential house, 20-year old girl and 71-year-old man got shrapnel wounds as a result. Both victims were taken to Kurakhove hospital. Doctors say their condition is satisfactory.
In Donetsk direction, situation was quite stable. However, Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered heavy machine guns fire near Zaytseve and Opytne.
In Luhansk direction, enemy used grenade launchers of various modifications and small arms to attack ATO strongholds near Novozvanivka and Krymske. Positions near Novooleksandrivka were shelled from anti-aircraft weapon.
