Most of the shooting took place near government-held port city of Mariupol and Donetsk, anti-terrorist operation press centre reports. Pro-Kremlin militants used mortars, artillery and fired a tank gun once – all in breach of Minsk agreements.
Near Pavlopol, Donetsk region, the enemy opened fire from mortars, 122 mm self-propelled artillery. Emplacements near Maryinka, Taramchuk, Novotroitske, Nevelske, Pisky, Avdiivka, Verkhnyotoretske and Luhanske (all in Donetsk region) went under mortar fire. Butivka coal mine, currently the epicentre of military actions in Donetsk region, was shelled from heavy mortars and 152 mm artillery.
