As we reported earlier, on March 22, OSCE SMM patrols were not allowed to enter the areas uncontrolled by the Ukrainian government due to quarantine.

“On 21 and 22 March, members of the armed formations at checkpoints in Donetsk region denied all SMM patrols travelling from government-controlled areas passage into non-government-controlled areas,” the message said.

Meanwhile, the government of Russia allowed the citizens of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics to enter the country.

Such measures were applied due to the closure of the checkpoints at the disengagement line of occupied Donbas and Ukraine.
