The pro-Russian militants shelled the positions of the Ukrainian soldiers three times on January 30, as Headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.

“None of the soldiers of the Joint Forces Operation has suffered as a result of the illicit attacks of the Russian-occupation forces,” the message said.

The militants shelled the Ukrainian positions near Kriakivka village, Luhansk region, with the 82-mm mortar launchers, and positions near Volny hamlets, Zolote-4 village with automatic grenade launchers and small arms.

Besides, the militants shelled the Ukrainian soldiers with the grenade launcher near Pavlopil village, Donetsk region.

“The detachments suppressed enemy’s attacks using the means on duty. The situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone is controlled by the Ukrainian military,” the message said.

Earlier, the Joint Control and Coordination Centre reported attacks on Chermalyk's living quarters; the Russian militants who were behind these attacks used small arms.

According to the data from UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission, from 12,800 up to 13,000 people died since the beginning of Donbas Conflict (April 2014 - end of 2018).
