"During the 2 attacks, when there was a direct threat to the lives of our servicemen, Ukraine’s Armed Forces used weapons to defeat the enemy. Since the beginning of the day there have been no losses among Ukrainian soldiers, "the headquarters said.

As it was reported earlier the combat situation in Donbas remained unchanged; Russian mercenaries shell Ukrainian positions, using mostly small arms, RPGs, heavy machineguns and mortars. Three fighters of government forces were wounded in combat.

Mortar fire intensified considerably; mines hit Avdiivka, Troitske (Donetsk region), Novotoshkivske, Novozvanivka, Krymske and Popasna (Luhansk region). In Mariupol sector, mercenaries shelled Hnutove from 82 mm mortars. In Starohnativka, they opened fire from heavy machine guns.
