Situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense, however predicted and generally controlled by Ukrainian defenders. Russia-backed occupation forces attacked positions of Ukrainian forces 16 times since midnight, used heavy artillery, banned by Minsk agreement, twice. Ukrainian military suffered no losses in the last 24 hours. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

In Mariupol direction, illegal armed groups attacked Krasnohorivka using heavy artillery of 122 and 152 mm caliber. Over dozen deadly ordnance exploded near Ukrainian positions, fortunately no Ukrainian soldiers got wounded. Militants also used heavy machine guns to attack Hnutove, Vodiane and Marinka. Strongholds near Shyrokyne were shelled with 82 mm mortars. Enemy snipers and machine-gunners were active near Krasnohorivka and Marinka. 

In Donetsk direction, situation was quite stable, but enemy shelling did not stop. Particularly, Russia-backed terrorists attacked positions near Avdiivka using mortars of various calibers, including the banned ones, grenade launchers and small arms. Ukrainian positions near Kamianka were also attacked from small arms. Enemy fired 82 mm mortars and light weapons at one of the strongholds near Troitske.

In Luhansk direction, enemy mostly fired in direction of Ukrainian soldiers defending Krymske. They used grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns. Militants fired infantry weapons at Malynovske and Donets. Enemy sniper was targeting ATO fighters serving near Novotoshkivske settlement.
