During the past 24 hours, April 29, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the zone of the Donbas Conflict due to the attacks of the pro-Russian militants. Maksym Prauta, the spokesperson of the Defense Ministry claimed this as 112.ua reported.
'During the past 24 hours no casualties reported, two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded', Prauta reported.
Also, the Defense Ministry confirmed the information about 45 attacks of the militants at the Ukrainian soldiers. All attacks were targeted. The Ukrainian soldiers were forced to respond by firing 19 times.
As we reported, on April 30, the Anti-Terrorist Operation is officially replaced by the Joint Force Operation (JFO) in Donbas.
The change of the format is defined in the law 'On Donbas reintegration'.
On April 13, Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed that the Anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine is to be renamed in the Joint Forces Operation since April 30, 2018.
As it was reported earlier, Poroshenko appointed Serhiy Nayev the Joint Force Commander.
