The pro-Russian militants shelled the Ukrainian defenders 12 times on September 13. As a result of the attacks, one military man died as the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported.

“During the past 24 hours, on September 13, in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation, 12 violations of the ceasefire are spotted,” the message says.

Near Zaitseve, the militants shelled the Ukrainian soldiers from automatic grenade launchers and rocket-propelled grenades; near Verkhnotoretske – from 120 mm mortars banned by Minsk Agreements.

In the direction of New York, the illicit armed formation used 122 mm artillery systems; while near Zolote-4, they used rocket-propelled grenades. Not far from Katerynivka, the militants used various grenade launchers and small arms.

Near Novooleksandrivka, the enemy held numerous attacks three times from various grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

Not far from Prychepylivka, the militants shelled twice the Ukrainian positions from heavy machine guns, small arms and 82mm mortars. Near Popasna, the fire was held from heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.

As a result of the hostile attack, one soldier sustained fatal injuries.

As we reported, on September 12, 2021, in the area of the Joint Forces operation in Donbas, a Ukrainian marine was killed while performing a combat mission.
