17 violations of the ceasefire regime took place in Donbas on April 12. Another three violations of the ceasefire were observed since the beginning of the day, April 13. As a result, two soldiers died; another two sustained injuries as the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
“During the past 24 hours, on April 13, in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 17 times, including 15 attacks at the Ukrainian positions and two distant mine-laying with POM-2,” the message said.
Near Pivdenne, the enemy opene fire from 120 mm mortars, BMP-1, recoilless anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms.
Not far from Shumy and Zaitseve, the illegal armed formations opened fire from 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Moreover, near Zaitseve, the enemy planted POM-2 landmines, endangering the civilian infrastructure.
Near Novhorodske, the occupants opened fire from the armament of the infantry fighting vehicles and recoilless anti-tank grenade launchers. In the vicinities of Zolote-4, the attack was held from the automatic recoilless grenade launchers and small arms.
In Donetsk region not far from Pisky, the enemy opened fire from heavy machine guns; near Kamianka – from small arms. As a result of the targeted fire, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sustained fatal injury.
The HQ added that on April 12, the occupants shelled disengagement area Zolote-2. The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spotted two grenade attacks from occupied Pervomaisk toward Katerynivka in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Not far from Mayorsk, the drone of the militants, crossing the demarcation line dropped grenades at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, one soldier sustained fatal injuries. Another two were wounded. They were provided with medical aid and hospitalized.
On April 12, more shooting in Donbas caused the death of another Ukrainian fighter. According to the Command's message on Facebook, the attack that took the warrior's life occurred on April 12.
