Russia-backed terrorist forces continue to violate Minsk agreement. 35 attacks were reported over past day in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

Enemy mostly attacked strongholds in Mariupol direction. Pavlopil was shelled with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns in the morning. In the afternoon militants started firing at positions in Shyrokyne and Vodiane using 122 mm artillery. Beyond that, enemy tank and snipers attacked Ukrainian positions near Vodiane. Shyrokyne was also attacked with IFV. 120 mm mortars were used to attack Hnutove.

In Donetsk direction, the hottest spot was Avdiivka. Strongholds of Ukrainian Armed Forces here were attacked with 120 and 82 mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms. Enemy fired IFV weaponry, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at Luhanske. Russia-backed forces also fired heavy machine guns at Verkhnyotoretske, strongholds near Novhorodske and Nevelske were shelled with grenade launchers of various types.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian positions in Novooleksandrivka were attacked with heavy machine guns. 

Ukrainian warriors opened return fire to keep down enemy’s activity.

ATO HQ later reported that Ukrainian soldier was killed by the bullet of enemy sniper near Luhanske. Another Ukrainian military officer has reportedly died from shrapnel injuries in hospital. He got wounded by 120 mm mortar shells near Popasna area.
