The work of Donbas checkpoints has been running roughly, as Russian occupants have been creating hindrances on their side. Ukraine's State Border Guard reported that on June 16.
According to the authority, pro-Kremlin mercenaries use so-called "lists of those wishing to move", when providing permissions for crossign the division line.
Ukraine's border guards informed that in Mariinka, Donetsk region, Russian armed formations completely shut off the traffic on their side of the checkpoint; so, no there are currently no people wishing to pass the checkpoint.
At Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint, Ukrainian border guards were forced to cease passage procedures, referring to security reasons, because militants began to turn people back to Ukraine-controlled territory. On Tuesday, June 17, the mercenaries did not let 28 people to Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine opened the checkpoints on the division line with occupied Donbas on June 10. However, the Russian mercenaries have been blocking their work.
