Russia-backed mercenaries used 82 mm mortars, the sort of weaponry forbidden by Minsk agreement, in order to attack Avdiivka (Donetsk region) and Krymske (Luhansk sector) on Tuesday. The Joint Control and Coordination Centre, the supervising authority that consists of Ukrainian and Russian military officers reported that on the Facebook page of the Anti-Terrorist Operation staff.

‘Over the last 48 hours, Ukrainian army units took fire, due to massive strikes launched by the illegal armed units in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. They used heavy machineguns, RPGs, automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber machineguns and small arms. Mines from Minsk-banned 82 mm mortars hit Krymske,’ the Centre said.
