Since morning of May 8, Russia-backed militants have launched 50 attacks on Ukrainian positions. In particular, they used Minsk-banned Grad missile launchers and 120 mm mortars to shell outposts in all sectors of the combat area.
Mortar mines hit Kamyanka, Nevelske, Troitske, Verknyotoretske, Avdiivka (Donetsk sector), Pavlopol, Hnutove, Krasnohorivka (Mariupol sector), Krymske (Luhansk region). 122 mm missiles fired from enemy Grad launchers landed in Hnutove and Novozvanivka. 82 mm mortar attacks were reported in and near many towns and villages in Donetsk, Mariupol and Luhansk sectors. Enemy snipers opened fire in the area of Novotroitske, Mariupol sector.
