Since morning of May 4, Russia-backed militants have opened fire along the entire frontline in the war-torn eastern Ukraine. Ten Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in combat.
In Mariupol sector, the enemy used mortars, IFVs, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms; Pavlopol, Hnutove, Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Vodyane, Novoselivka II, Bohdanivka and Shyrokyne went under fire.
Positions of Ukrainian troops in Donetsk sector came under heavy mortar fire; near Luhanske, hostile units used 82 and 120 mm mortars, IFVs, AA guns and heavy machineguns. Militants attacked Zaitsevo and Verkhnyotoretske, Avdiivka and Butivka coal mine, Mayorske, Kamyanka and Novhorodske.
The enemy used the Minsk-banned 152 mm artillery to shell Krymske, Luhansk region. Popasna, Novozvanivka, Lobachevo and Valuiske also went under attacks.
