Bloody fights continue in the area of Svitlodarsk bulge in Donetsk region

Over the last 24 hours, pro-Kremlin mercenaries opened fire 22 times across the combat area – mainly, in the Donetsk sector. 122 mm artillery shells and 120 mm mortars were used to shell Ukrainian positions in Luhanske, in the area of the Svitlodarsk bulge. The enemy’s attempts to storm the Ukrainian outposts on the bulge were repelled by the return artillery fire.

Militants fired 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machineguns during attacks on Avdiivka, Novhorodske, Verkhnyotoretske and Luhanske.

152 mm artillery shells landed in Myronivka village, Donetsk region. Over 30 shells hit the civilian quarters. 120 and 82 mm mortars were used to shell Krasnohorivka, Starohnativka and Vodyane.

In Luhansk region, rebels opened fire in Krymske, using 82 mm mortars and anti-tank missile launchers. RPG fire was reported in Popasna and Zhovte.
