The vicinities of Mariupol remain the epicenter of the military action in the war-torn Donbas.
The Ukrainian military reported 152 mm artillery attacks in Sartana, where three servicemen were shell-shocked during the fights and seven border guards were wounded. Mortar fire was observed, too; mines hit Shyrokyne, Vodyane, Mariinka and Krasnohorivka. In Hnutove, Novotroitske, Bohdanivka and Talakivka, the enemy fired RPGs and small arms.
In Donetsk sector, pro-Kremlin militants shelled Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Verkhnyotoretske, Kamyanka, Mayorsk, Luhanske, Pisky and Nevelske. They used mostly mortars, RPGs and small arms. A 15-year-old boy suffered shrapnel wounds during the attack in Kamyanka; as of morning June 9, his condition is satisfactory.
In Luhansk region, the overall situation somewhat stabilized; however, the attacks continue. 120 mm mines hit vicinities of Tryokhizbenka and Katerynivka.
