According to the anti-terrorist operation HQ, Russia-backed militants mainly fired their guns at Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka, Butivka coal mine, Nevelske, Opytne and Pisky (all in Donetsk region). In particular, they used 122 mm artillery systems and heavy 120 mm mortars. Krasnohorivka was shelled from mortars of various calibers, RPGs, heavy machineguns and small arms. Another 82 mm mortar attack took place near Maryinka, Donetsk region.
Over the period, there were no reports about firefights in Luhansk region.
