The overall combat situation in Donbas has sharpened; the enemy opened fire 34 times, using not only small arms, RPGs and IFV armament, but also mortars.  

Most of the combat activity was reported after 6 p.m.; in Donetsk sector, Russia-backed mercenaries attacked Avdiivka and Butivka coal mine. Mortar, RPG and small arms fire was reported in these areas.

In Mariupol sector, illegal armed units fired small arms and RPGs in Lebedynske and Talakivka.

In Luhansk region, pro-Kremlin militants used 120 mm mortars, AA guns and large-caliber machineguns to attack Troitske.

A Ukrainian serviceman lost his live in a sniper attack in Novozvanivka, Luhansk region.
