Russia-backed militants launched 44 attacks on Ukrainian positions

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian outposts in Donbas were shelled from mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms.

120 mm mortar mines, rocket-propelled grenades and shells from IFVs landed in Novotroitske, Mariupol sector.  Lebedynske, Vodyane and Krasnohorivka went under fire from RPGs and heavy machineguns. The enemy used grenade launchers to attack Hnutove and Novohnativka; Shyrokyne and Novohryhorivka were shelled from IFVs.  

In the Donetsk sector, pro-Russian militants attacked Avdiivka, Butivka coal mine, Verknyotoretske and Zaitseve; they used mostly small arms, heavy machineguns and RPGs. Enemy snipers opened fire in Pisky.   

In Luhansk region, the enemy fired 82 mm mortars, heavy machineguns and RPGs; the militants attacked Novozvanivka, Troitske, Krymske, Novotoshkivske and Stanytsia Luhanska.
