The Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic"'s militants launched signal missiles that means the start of the disengagement. In the beginning, both sides launched white flares, stating their readiness for separation of forces and resources. Then the beginning of disengagement was marked by green flares, which serve as high signs to start the separation of troops on the area of Bohdanivka-Petrivske.
Earlier, the Ukrainian side stated it was ready to start the practical phase of disengagement of forces and resources near Bohdanivka and Petrivske settlements on October 9.
The HQ of the Joint Forces added a photo of the OSCE SMM Observation Mision, which was located near Bohdanivka at 11 a.m.; the settlement is on the territory, which is not occupied by the Russian Federation.
