The deployment of S-400, the anti-aircraft missile system in occupied Crimea is the warning to the Ukrainian engineers of the missile weaponry. Dmitry Belik, the so-called MP of the State Duma claimed this as RIA News reported.

‘Any object that crosses the air boundary of the peninsula without the permission will be guaranteed shot down despite its destination point whether it is the Crimean Bridge or the spa resorts of Yevpatoria. Any attempt to feel out our antiaircraft defense will end sadly’, Belik said.

A new squadron will control the air area over Chonhar and Armiansk near the continental territory of Ukraine as RIA News reported citing the source at the defense department of the occupied peninsula. Earlier S-400, the anti-aircraft missile system was deployed near Feodosia in spring 2017.

According to Belik, both formations are ready to reflect the potential missile threats from Ukraine.

S-400 Triumf is the Russian distant range anti-aircraft missile system. It aims to destroy the aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, including those with the medium range of action and it also can be used against the surface facilities. The range of its action is up to 400 kilometers and it can destroy the objects at the height up to 30 kilometers.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Russia deployed the electronic warfare system in occupied Crimea.
