The mercenaries in Donbas have been using 152-mm artillery for two days in a row in Donbas, and have fired 10 of these shells, as spokesperson of the Defense Ministry on the issue of the Donbas conflict Dmitry Hutsuliak said in a briefing at the Ukrainian Crisis media centre.
“For the second day in a row, we record the enemy using artillery of 152-mm calibre to attack our positions near Pidlisne. The enemy fired 10 shells at our strongholds,” he said.
Hutsuliak also confirmed that there were four militant attacks on Feb. 24, all of them in Luhansk sector.
“All enemy attacks on our defensive positions are classified as aimed. In two cases, the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had to open return fire, using the weapons that are not banned by the Minsk agreements,” he said.
According to the Minsk agreements, all heavy weaponry must be withdrawn 15 kilometres from the line of contact by both sides, The Russian mercenaries failed to do so in the past three years.
