"The situation remains unstable near Meryinka, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne, Mariupol region. The enemy continues to open fire from heavy weapons, mortars and howitzers in Krasnogorivka, Talakivka and Vodyane. The number of shells fired decreased compared with the previous day and amounted to about 100. This de-escalation on the borders is associated with yesterday's negotiations of the Normandy Four in Berlin, however, it doesn’t have a steady nature yet", said Lysenko.

OSCE SMM has recorded an increase in ceasefire violations in the Donetsk region in comparison with the previous reporting period, most of which were concentrated near Avdiivka and Yasynuvata, as well as in and areas to the north-east of Mariupol.
