Day in JFO zone: 30 attacks performed

Over the past 24 hours, the militants used banned heavy weaponry four times

The militants opened fire 30 times at the Armed Forces positions over the past 24 hours on August 6, four for them – from the heavy weapon, as the JFO HQ reported on Facebook.

It was also specified that the enemy was conducting adjusted fire from the grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The Russian troops used infantry fighting vehicles in some sectors.

“The attacks were conducted at the defenders of Krymske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Pivdenne, Novgorodske, Marinka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Chrmalyk, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodyane and Shyrokyne. In addition, the enemy shot at our positions near Novoluhanske and Lebedynske from 82-mm mortar launchers, and from 120- and 82-mm mortar launchers at the defenders of Avdiivka. The enemy also used 120-mm mortar launchers firing at our positions near Hnutove,” the HQ reads.

Three Ukrainian soldiers were injured over the past 24 hours in Donbas.

According to the intelligence, one militant was eliminated, four more were wounded.

“During the current day, the militants of the Russian occupation troops opened fire seven times at the Ukrainian positions near Krymske, Malynove, Novozvanivka, Troitske, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. Heavy weapon was not applied,” the message says.

On August 5, the militants opened fire 40 times in Donbas conflict zone, four of them – using banned heavy weapons.
