Day in Donbas: Occupants violate ceasefire regime five times, no casualties

The Ukrainian military suffered no losses over the 24-hours-long period

Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime five times in Donbas combat zone. No casualties among the Ukrainian Amed Forces have been recorded. The press service of the JFO HQ reports this on Facebook.

"The enemy has violated the ceasefire regime five times since the beginning of the day. The Russia-backed militants fired at the positions of our subdivisions using the Minsk-baned weaponry. In particular, they fired with 120 mm mortar, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms," the report said.

The occupants fired at the positions of the Joint Forces operation near Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Novotroitske and Zaytseve settlements.

"As a result of the enemy attack, no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen have been recorded. Our subdivisions stopped the fire of the pro-Kremlin militants by opening fire as well. The enemy's casualties have been checking yet," the report reads.

Earlier, June 9, pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire in the Donbas conflict zone fourteen times. Armed formations of the Russian Federation bombarded positions of Ukrainian units using the 122-mm artillery systems banned by the Minsk agreements, 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars, as well as weapons from infantry fighting vehicles, various grenade launchers, heavy machine-guns and small arms.
