A sniper of pro-Kremlin militants wounded one of Ukrainian solders in Donbas combat zone. The Ukrainian delegation in Minsk contact group said so on December 17.
The sniper attack took place in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian side in the contact group notified the OSCE SMM of the incident that occurred at about 5.40 p.m. Thursday.
The fighter's health condition is stable; he is being treated.
Earlier, the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group reported that the service center was opened at Novotroitske checkpoint in Donetsk region.
“Yesterday, on December 16, 2020, at Novotroitske checkpoint, the modern multifunctional service center was opened. It is the second similar service center. The first one was opened on November 10 at Shchastya checkpoint in Luhansk region,” the message said.
Previously, we reported that Donbas militants have blocked the potential process of exchange of prisoners by making unrealistic demands that cannot be met. This was stated by the representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the Tripartite Contact Group Serhiy Garmash.
