On January 30, Russian militants landed four attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. That, in particular, included the use of heavy artillery; one Ukrainian soldier was injured in combat. The HQ of Joint Forces Operation reported that on Facebook.

"The enemy shelled our positions from Minsk-banned 122 mm artillery 82 and 120 mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems", reads the message.

In Donetsk region, the mercenaries attacked Berezovve, using grenade launchers of various systems.

In Novotoshkivske (Luhansk region), the enemy fired from 122 mm artillery, and 82 and 120 mm mortars.

Ukrainian servicemen returned fire, making the enemy stop their attacks.

On January 29, pro-Kremlin militants conducted six attacks, using the weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Joint Forces Operation general staff reported this on Facebook. In the Donetsk region, militants fired at the positions of the Joint Forces near Maryinka and Pisky. Both times, militants used grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. In the Luhansk region, they violated the ceasefire four times. Near Orikhove, a 120 mm mortar was used. Near Novotoshkivske, militants opened fire three times - with mortars of calibers of 120 mm and 82 mm.
