On July 6, militants violated ceasefire in Donbas seven times, using 122-mm artillery systems, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns, which are prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.
The enemy used 120-caliber mortars next to Zaitseve and Pivdenne settlements while grenade/rocket launchers and machine guns were applied near Khutor Vilnyi.
The Ukrainian positions near Starohnativka were attacked with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
Over the past 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier has received a combat injury as a result of enemy shelling.
As we reported earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have assured that there is currently no threat of intrusion into Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
"Nevertheless, the Ukrainian army is preparing for every scenario ... The Armed Forces of Ukraine are working out plans to respond to all military threats from Russia, including threats in the Crimean direction," the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Nayev said.
