Day in Donbas: Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded

The Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime eight times in the Donbas conflict zone. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded as a result of the attack. The press service of the JFO HQ reports this on Facebook.

“Two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded, as a result of the attack. The Ukrainian soldiers returned fire, suppressing the enemy activity,” the report said.

The occupants opened fire four times at the positions of the Joint Forces operation since the beginning of the day.  

In Donetsk region, the enemy fired at the Ukrainian positions twice: with 82 mm mortar near Vodyane settlement, and with grenade launcher of various systems near Krasnohorivka village.

In Luhansk region, the occupants fired at the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice: with 122 mm artillery system, 82 mm mortar and heavy machine guns near Travneve settlement.

No casualties among the Ukrainian servicemen have been recorded today.
