On December 4, pro-Kremlin militants breached the ceasefire in Donbas twice. HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Friday.
In Vodyane, Donetsk region, Russian occupants opened fire from 120 mm mortars and 122 mm artillery.
Near Luhanske settlement, pro-Kremlin mercenaries used sniper weapons. As a result, a serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded.
Currently, his condition is stable; he's being treated at a medical facility.
Ukrainian combat engineers cleared more than six hectares of land from landmines, and passed 84 explosive items for further safe destruction.
Also, pro-Kremlin militants continue blocking the work of five checkpoints in Donbas. These are Schastya, Zolote, Hnutove, Mayorske and Mariinka. This was mentioned on the website of the State Border Guard of Ukraine.
The authority claimed that in fact, only two checkpoints are working on the side of militants.
"Passage of citizens is performed only at entry-exit checkpoints of Stanystia Luhanska (every day) and Novotroitske - twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, when the occupants unblock the traffic", reads the message.
The Ukrainian side allows citizens to pass through checkpoints daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
