Since the beginning of the day, September 17, Russian mercenaries broke the ceasefire two times. Press office of Ukraine's defense ministry reported that on Friday.

So, near Pisky, militants fired at Ukrainian positions from 120-caliber mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

In Luhansk region, Ukrainian troops observed flight of a hostile drone Orlan-10. The UAV crossed the division line.

None of Ukrainian servicemen were killed or wounded in action over day.

Meanwhile, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposes sanctions against persons who are involved in the holding of elections to the Russian State Duma on the territory of occupied Donbas and annexed Crimea.

According to him, the sanctions will affect the participants, members of the commission, agitators and observers.

"All participants in this process, members of commissions, agitators, observers. All of them will be sanctioned. Sanctions will be applied by presidential decree in the near future," the NSDC secretary said.
