Since the beginning of the day, July 21, Russian mercenaries landed two attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. Press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on Wednesday.

Not far from Avdiivka, the militants opened fire from hand-held anti-tank and under-barrel grenade launchers and small arms.

Near Pisky, the enemy used 82-caliber mortars and anti-tank missile systems.

Ukrainian forces took no casualties during the said attacks.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian combat engineers cleared seven hectares of the territory from landmines, and passed 139 explosive items for further safe destruction.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian soldier from the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) was wounded as a result of an explosion on an unknown explosive device in Donbas. 

"As a result of a detonation on an unknown explosive device, one soldier received a combat injury," the message says.

A military man sustained moderately serious injuries.

It is noted that the Ukrainian serviceman was provided with medical assistance, he was promptly taken to a medical institution.
