Since the beginning of the day, February 15, Russian mercenaries landed two attacks on positions of Ukrainian forces. Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Monday.
The occupants used anti-tank grenade launchers to attack the emplacements in the vicinities of Slavny, and automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell the Ukrainian positions near Svitlodarsk.
None of Ukrainian servicemen were killed or wounded in action, Joint Forces Operation HQ said.
During the day, Ukrainian combat engineers cleared two hectares of territory from landmines and passed 31 explosives for further safe destruction.
As we reported earlier, on February 14, three servicemen of Joint Forces lost their lives in Donbas combat zone.
"Three servicemen from the Joint Forces line-up deceased near the settlement of Novoluhanske, as they moved on to their positions," Press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry.
Three ceasefire violations took place in the combat area on Sunday. In Donetsk region, Russian occupants opened fire from stationary anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms.
