Since the beginning of the day, July 4, Russian armed gangs attacked Ukrainian emplacements in Donbas 16 times. They fired Minsk-banned weaponry on several occasions.
The enemy actively used mortars of various calibers in Luhansk region; 82 and 120 mm mines hit Novhorodske, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Popasna and Novoluhanske. Armed pro-Kremlin mercenaries used grenade launchers to attack Ukrainian positions in Pivdenne and Luhanske.
122 mm artillery shells and self-propelled grenades landed in Novotoshkivske.
UNICEF warns that the escalation of military conflict in eastern Ukraine could threaten the access to drinking water and the support of proper sanitation for 3.2 million people.
