On September 10, Russian mercenaries violated the ceasefire in Donbas three times. No losses were observed among Ukrainian forces, the HQ of Joint Forces Operation reports.
"At 2.15 p.m., the militants opened fire on Ukrainian positions near Shumy settlement. The attack was adjusted and aimed at the section where members of Joint Control and Cooordination Centre and OSCE representatives had to take place. They had security guarantees. Thanks to the timely work of the Ukrainian reconnaissance, the actions of militants were predicted, and so the Joint Forces staff, the JCCC and OSCE members were taken to safety quickly", reads the message.
Besides, the enemy also opened fire from small arms in the areas of Zolote and Zolote-5, using incendiary bullets to burn the grass in the area.
Earlier, we reported that on September 9, members of Trilateral Contact Group agreed to conduct the joint inspection of Ukrainian army emplacements in the area of Shumy, in Donetsk region. The inspection was supposed not to let any disruptions of full ceasefire in Donbas combat area. The problem was supposed to take place on September 10 at 2 p.m., but then, it was canceled. The Ukrainian side blamed the militants, and the mercenaries claimed it was Kyiv's fault that the agreement was disrupted.
