Day in Donbas: Six attacks by pro-Russian militants during the day

Militants used weapons of prohibited calibers in the zone of hostilities

On April 13, the pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire in Donbas conflict zone six times and used weapons of prohibited calibers. This is reported by the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.

82-mm caliber mortars were used to attack the Ukrainian positions in the Novotroitske area; the enemy fired near Avdiivka, using missile launchers; grenade launchers of various systems were userd near Pavlopol; anti-tank grenade launcher fire was observed in Pisky area. The occupants also used automatic grenade launchers and small arms twice near Avdiivka.

As a result of the enemy offensive, no dead or wounded were reported among the Ukrainian military.

The International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC)  sent humanitarian aid to the uncontrolled territory of Donbas, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reported.

“Four trucks from ICRC were sent through Novotroitske entry-exit checkpoint to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. The residents of Donbas will receive 73 tons of humanitarian aid, in particular, building materials and hygiene kits,” the report said.

Earlier, the representatives of the illegal armed formations did not let three trucks carrying humanitarian aid from the International Committee of the Red Cross occupied Donbas.
