Over the last 24 hours, the militants have violated the ceasefire in Donbas seven times, using mortars of calibers that are prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This was reported by the press service of Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.
Thus, the occupiers fired at the Ukrainian positions with 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars, grenade/rocket launchers, and small arms.
Four violations were observed in the Luhansk region and three - in the Donetsk region.
No casualties among the personnel of the Joint Forces have been reported.
As we reported earlier, according to Director of Civilian Protection, Mobilization, and Defense Events of Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko, checkpoints at the contact line with occupied areas of Donbas will stay close until June 22.
“The Commander of the Joint Forces issued the order that the ban for crossing will last until 23:59 on June 22 if there are no other orders before this time,” Boiko stated.
It was noted that the mitigations for the crossing of the checkpoints were not provided at that moment.
