Over the day, October 13, Russian-backed militants fired on the positions of the Ukrainian Army 7 times and used weapons of prohibited calibers. This is reported by the JFO HQ on Facebook.

In the Donetsk sector, enemy violated the ceasefire six times. From 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers of various systems, they fired at the positions of the Ukrainian military near Novoluhansk; from automatic grenade launchers - near Svitlodarsk; from heavy machine guns - in Zolote area; from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms - near Pivdenne.

In the Luhansk sector, militants fired on the positions of the Ukrainian military near Pisky, using heavy machine guns.

No casualties reported in the ranks of Ukrainian troops.

As we reported, more than half of Ukrainians (56%) do not support the granting and consolidation of the special status of the Donbas in the Constitution of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.

The majority of respondents (56%) oppose the granting and consolidation of the "special status" of individual territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the Constitution of Ukraine (only 26% support it).

In addition, the assessment of the situation in Donbas shows that 40% of respondents believe that there is a war between Ukraine and Russia in the east, another 20% say that there is a separatist rebellion supported by Russia, 15% agree that there is a civil war in the east of Ukraine, 7% - there is a war between Russia and the USA, and 7% - there is a fight for independence of Donetsk and Luhansk People's republics.

Regarding the political future of the Occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 56% of Ukrainian citizens would like their return to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, under the same conditions as before, 13.5% - to return these territories under the control of Ukraine but gain more independence from Kyiv, 10% - for these territories to form autonomy within Ukraine, 3% - for these territories to separate from Ukraine and become independent states, 3% - for these territories to separate from Ukraine and become part of the Russian Federation.
